Two sheetlets have arrived from New Zealand. There is the WW2 75 years sheetlet, although singles are available as a set too. Then the Teddy Bear Hunt sheetlet portraying a pandemic phenomenon!

With the help of a friend, I am renovating my Hong Kong stock, or at least the definitives. Today, I finalised work on the QV-KG5 stamps. During that period, I was able to add a few shades and other types. My stock was already very strong but a few more items never go amiss!

This weekend I have been working on Nicaragua. This may be one of the better selections of the 94 stock book purchase of some months ago. So far, I have got as far as 1982 (SG 2346) with quite a lot still to do. There are definitely no expensive stamps in the range and there are endless overprints earlier in the twentieth century and later. You can make a good start to collecting Nicaragua very cheaply.

My contact in Australia has sent me more recent issues, filling a few gaps that had been created. There is one new issue, about Children’s Hospitals.

I also added a small number of issues from Anguilla to my range. I have been surprised how popular these are!

I spent all afternoon and early evening preparing items for www.robstineextra.com and they will actually be visible on the site in the next few days. All of these are Commonwealth from Aden to Ceylon by alphabetical order. I have lots more to input in the near future.

The Nicaragua collection/lot has now been priced up and laid out in three stockbooks. The range is quite strong in the 1980s but it does not really go any further than 1989, apart from a few stamps. The next Latin America country to get the treatment is probably Honduras but that will have to wait while I sort out some more Commonwealth and perhaps a few more things.
